Training
In some cases, hiring more staff may not be the long term answer to meeting the labour needs of the business. Analysis of the "skills mix" requirements of the business may indicate that the needs can be met by providing training to increase the effectiveness of the existing workforce. In all cases however, the decision must be based on what is best going to improve the business profitability.
BPS is a registered training organisation. Our registration details and the extension of scope that we currently have to issue national accredited training and qualifications is at attachment 3.
At the moment we are concentrating our efforts to the delivery of training in:
- Harness appreciation and fall prevention (working at heights)
- Enter confined space
- Participate in rescue operations
- Respond to workplace emergencies
- Undertake confined space rescue
- Undertake vertical rescue
- Use of portable fire fighting equipment
- Fire Warden and building evacuation training
- General safety induction
Other training within our scope of registration can also be provided.
If we do not have the required scope of registration for the required training, we would recommend an appropriate training organisation, with clearly specified outcomes required, to provide the necessary training.
